If you like peppers with extra heat, then the jalapeño is the way to go. This is a pepper that can be pickled to provide a unique flavor. You can easily make a batch of homemade pickled jalapeños by using beer as an ingredient.

Any ingredients that you do not have in your kitchen to make pickled jalapeños can be found at a local grocery store or supermarket. The two most important ingredients to have are the jalapeños and a good type of beer. You should look for an IPA beer or a pale ale. 

The total time to make a batch of pickled jalapeños is is about two hours. One batch will make one and one-half cups. You will need to wait an additional 24 hours for the pickling process to complete before enjoying your jalapeños.
