There are many benefits to be had when you plant a lavender hedge. The hedge is ideal to use to block the wind and it also has a pleasant scent that will attract some bees. One important thing to keep in mind is you might need to find out what plant varieties will grow in your climate.

You need to plant lavender that reach at least two feet tall. If you want to plant a lavender hedge that is taller, then look for plants that will reach up to four feet. A lavender hedge will need a year to fill in all the way.
