Windshild De-Icer

It’s winter time again and that means lots of ice and snow for many. It’s never fun to wake up extra early to go outside in the freezing cold and scrape ice off your windows. Well, we’ve learned a little trick that makes it easier. Spray your windshield and windows a solution you can make at home. The solution is 3 parts vinegar to 1 part water. Mix together and pour into a spray bottle. If you spray the windows the night before you go to bed, then you should have ice-free windows when you wake up in the morning.

We’ve also learned of success with substituting rubbing alcohol for the vinegar. The solution mix then is 2 parts rubbing alcohol to 1 part water.
