How To Make Healthy Pasta Dishes With The Spiral Cutter

Make sure you like Homestead and Survival on Facebook to be updated every time we find a tutorial for innovative ways you can become self-sufficient on a budget.

The Spiral Cutter is our new favorite kitchen tool – ok, second after our Vitamix – ūüôā – to make healthy dishes.

We like it best for making vegetable pasta. This way we can enjoy so many of our favorite pasta dishes easily without the carbs, the¬†gluten, the wheat…the whatever we want to avoid. We most often make¬†zucchini¬†and squash pasta, but like the spiral cutter for carrots too for vegetable spring wraps. The Spiral Cutter reviews well on Amazon. The only criticism we’ve discovered comes from those who don’t like the last 3/8 or so of the fruit or vegetable does not get cut. This is no problem if you just save the ends for snacks or freeze for soups. We are just so delighted to have fresh, virtually zero calorie pasta. Below is a link to a¬†variety¬†of awesome¬†zucchini¬†pasta dishes we’ve tried. Zucchini Pasta With Mint Pesto and¬†Pistachio¬†Crumble and Thai Chili Coconut Zucchini Noodles are two of our favorites. Enjoy!
