Have you ever had a cherry or blueberry pies that were made fresh or pre-packaged? If you want to have a tasty treat that is not fried or has processed ingredients, then you can make your own. The best part is you can make tasty blueberry hand pies at home that are baked.

If you can make a homemade dough or pie crust, then you can easily make blueberry hand pies. This is a great way to use fresh blueberries picked from your garden. Sugar can be used to sprinkle on the tops of the pies, but is not needed to make the filling.

The recipe that is being used to make blueberry hand pies will yield about 8 pies depending on the size. Each pie can be between four and six inches based on your preference. Total baking time for the pies will be about 20 minutes. The whole process from start to finish is about a half an hour.
