Are you interested in DIY crafts that you can make at home by recycling or by upcycling? You have many options to consider depending on what you want to make. Something that can be really fun and easy to do is to make a bath towel rug.

Making a bath towel rug is not hard to do at all. You simply need a variety of colors if you plan for the rug to be really colorful. Towels that are solid colors will be fine too. Scissors will be an important tool for this project as you need to cut a lot.

One-inch strips of material will be needed to make a bath towel rug. A medium-sized rug will require a minimum of 13 strips of material. You will need to stitch the end of three pieces together and then start to braiding. Once all of the braids have been stitched into a long strand, you can start forming the rug.
