We are enormous fans of hydroponics and aquaponics. In fact, we use hydroponics indoors and are building a greenhouse for an aquaponics system to grow our own food. Essentially, hydroponics gardening is growing plants with highly nutrient water. Aquaponics, is a variation of hydroponics in that fish provide the nutrients in the water. If you’re interested in growing your own food, we encourage you consider either method. We want to share an overview article (accessed at the link below) with you because it explains this gardening method and its benefits in the most simplest terms. We’ve selected hydroponics/aquaponics because compared to conventional soil methods, less water is used and crops grow bigger and yield more.
