5-Medicine-Cabinet-Must-Haves When it comes to health and safety, it’s always good to be prepared. One way to make sure that you’re prepared in your home is to have your medicine cabinet stocked with the right essentials. Typically this will include cold and allergy medicine, pain reliever, antiseptic, and bandages. There are five additional items typically found in your kitchen that you also should consider adding to your medicine cabinet.

1. Witch Hazel to treat bug bites and hemorrhoids (apply directly to skin)
2. Baking Soda to treat foot odor (soak feet for 5 min. in 3 T per gallon of water)
3. Apple Cider Vinegar to treat dandruff (mix 1 quarter cup vinegar with 1 quarter cup water and apply to scalp)
4. Sea Salt to treat canker sores (mix 1/2 teaspoon of salt in 1 glass of water and gargle)
5. Duck Tape to treat warts (apply tape to wart and leave on for 6 days, then file the wart with an emory board to expose the top part, reapply tape the next day and repeat the process until wart is dead and falls out)
