Haldi Milk essentially is Golden Milk with a twist and so it delivers all the same turmeric health benefits in terms of treating inflammation and achy joints, boosting the immune system, and improving overall skin quality. Haldi Milk is made with the additional spices of ginger, cardamon, and cinnamon.
To make Haldi Milk prepare your turmeric paste as shown in the video here. When you add the turmeric paste into your milk in a pan to warm on the stove, also add the ginger, cardamon, and cinnamon. The aroma is heavenly.
Per 2 cups of Golden Milk, add the following:
1 teaspoon ginger powder (or fresh)
1/4 teaspoon cardamon powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder (ceylon is preferred)
Warm the spices in the milk along with the turmeric paste. Once heated, remember to add your natural sweetener (no sugar) and preferred oil (we love organic coconut oil).
