We clean our homes and do our laundry, but we often don’t realize how much toxic air we breath from the chemicals and glues in our furniture and carpet. As well, we’re often oblivious to how many toxins we spread and then inhale with chemical household cleaners.
One great way to combat all these chemicals – such as formaldehyde, benzene and trichloroethylene, just to mention a few – is to fill our home with beautiful house plants. A few house plants not only will filter out the toxic chemicals, they also will fill our homes with color, decoration, and life.
We found this list by Mother Nature Network of 15 houseplants that will help improve indoor air quality in the home. Great for the office too!
